About Me
There's no greater way to connect with me than through music. It's shaped me into who I am today, I don't know who I would be without it.
Hi, I'm Alicia. Music has defined me since I was a young teen and now, in my 30's, that hasn't changed. The vast majority of my library is early 2000's/pre-2010 pop-punk and emo, with all types of rock music sprinkled in. I feel most myself when I'm at a live show, filled with other people who get it. With shows being on hold for a while, I found some "emo" Facebook groups (shoutout MurderEmos) and podcasts, which inspired me to create my own space to help fill that void.
So who am I? I'm a transplant in the Bay Area of California who tries to stay true to my east coast roots. I work as a nurse and in my spare time enjoy working out, watching reruns of the same 5 shows on rotation, listening to podcasts, food (cooking and eating), music (duh), and hanging out with my boyfriend and my dog. .
My favorite band of all time is Good Charlotte. I love them so much I was even featured on an episode of a GC fan podcast called Generation GC! Check out my episode here.
Can't wait to meet you all, I hope you enjoy the blog!
